Check out this book! It's a really old book (a 1999 publication) but the awesomeness is still abound. Apart from the fact that it illustrates Bhutan in COLOR like many travel guides, but the number of close-up shots of Bhutan's cultural products is totally noteworthy. An artistic approach? Not totally so either. Just also not that average travel guide with all the practical info & stuff.. It's one of those reads for people who like "background info" of the country they're visiting.. The range of topics covered is so diverse.Leeching on the library is the way to go, but this book is seriously a worthy buy - especially if Bhutan is on your list of MUST-GO's.
