Ok seriously, I have to take note of how people are reacting to the latter incident of the picture above. It makes me question if it is really the doings of the media or plain mindless receptiveness for people to ignore this:
and the former incident in the picture,
but to throw up a big fuss about the latter incident in that same picture above.
It's not like the massive scale of atrocities, whether in Syria and Afghanistan, have not been sufficiently broadcasted. It's just as though a dog would say "sudden movement excites me", these people in turn only react to devastating news that happen to take place in normally peaceful places. (I'm not undermining the few deaths in the picture's latter incident. I'm just saying that unjustified deaths are more prevalent elsewhere.) Just as Stalin said decades ago, "The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic." Somehow these people, without struggle, accept that statement as part of their lives. It's both appalling and laughable. Let's then also not forget that the key causes of death on Earth include poverty and hunger - and for that matter, people die everyday. Why then do these people not react as strongly - or in the more accurate sense, behave so indifferently?
