Graphic Violence | Benjamin Dix

I've read some of the comics before, but never knew the man behind this project. Yesterday I was blessed enough to have a chance to hear him speak in person. It made my day so much warmer (in this wintry cold) simply to know that people like him exist in this world. He's inspiring, to say the least. The audience was silent and in awe when he spoke, and when he presented his work. Several of them exclaimed how nicely done the session was. And I cannot disagree. I know there are many people who strive to make a difference out there, but from the creative standpoint, his work resonates so beautifully. I found his passion and sincerity most captivating. It sounds corny, but it's true.

Here I share the work he and his team have put together for humanity at large and I hope that whoever chances upon this will drop by: http://positivenegatives.org/

P.S. Maybe I should stop viewing my graphite pencils so condescendingly, because people deal with the world in different ways.
