The route that I take everyday, to and from school leads past this open field where trees used to stand. On account of "development", I managed to acquire these dystopian images. It seems as though only humans have the rights to flourish these days.
Sinister as they look, these fell trees only sat harmlessly, passively allowing me to photograph them one quiet midnight a few days ago. That pathetic state of scattered remnants of the once rightfully living things felt like they wanted their grievances redressed. Yet they really had no voice.
I lament this loss.
If trees bled, this might be a killing field. Not an especially extensive one, for I've seen worse, but a significant one on this tiny island in severe want of natural entities.
