Laos - Luang Prabang (15-May-2012)
Banana crisps, local street food & Chinese tea.

7-headed Naga's residing at Wat Mahathat. A really old Wat, but whatever remnants it has of its bygone days can in fact hardly be seen. It's been heavily refurbished & all that're left today, 2 Nagas towering over the pavement just few feet away from the main road. The silver's really impressive in the way it shimmers in the sun though. *Applauds*
Not many photographs for this day, since the day consisted largely of wandering around on feet. Also, hanging out at Sysomphone isn't the best means to build a photograph collection but there're PEOPLE, right?!
Ought to go do some reading since it's a rainy Friday & isn't entirely stuffy at home. Books on hand: Thoreau's writings (I'm left with Walden, which essentially is a large chunk of the book), 'Nature' by Noel Castree, 'The Dominant Animal' by the Ehrlich'es. Of course, all the other artistic endeavors which I've time & again postponed. Besides, 日本語を勉強します!
頑張ってね!
