Day #15: Wandering around Nha Trang. Relax. (14-May-2010)
Time for a bit of winding down from the previous few days of supposed tension & rush hours (literally). 'Wandering' is the perfectly appropriate word to describe the activities (or the lack thereof) today. Whenever I lay foot at a town, the best place to head to would be the market. & there I was, at a coffee shop nearby drinking freshly-blended mixed fruit juice. This is a whole lot of avocados & mangoes, ice cold with milk. No way of describing the awesome-ness of this, considering my state of near-combustion.
It seemed as though the market was flooding beyond its vicinity. The stalls were practically pouring out of the main structure. But it's probably a good news for shopaholics, & besides, most of the stalls lining the roads offered a wide range of souvenirs, though a tad more inferior than that of places like HCMC & Hoi An. Anyway, Nha Trang's specialty probably lies with those boundless stretches of beach & water activities, isn't it?

Along the busy Tran Phu, the beach was a round-the-clock attraction. It was one superbly maintained as well, for unlike many other places which you would've probably noticed, the litter there was minimal, & it was safe to walk barefooted in the sand (not likely to have some glass fragments stuck in your profusely bleeding feet at the end of the day I think). Perhaps it was even therapeutic to some extent, for walking in the sand with your sandals off, worked comfortably like foot massage.

It's a terrible thing to flood you with beach shots when you weren't even there yourself? My apologies. But visiting places like this can really soothe your mind, & soul (I know nothing about that, oh please!). Get beyond the aircon & 4 walls, take to the beach, or outdoors in general, & you'd know what it means, seriously. OMG. More rants, HATING office work. WTH.
Much as I was enjoying it, it's perfectly understandable that the number of photos would decline to some extent. Thus... That was the last shot for the day (below). The roundabout at some point of intersection along Tran Phu. I have to emphasise on this road, for the entire thing was littered along with attractions. That's why the tourist have to swarm this place, isn't it? & pathetic enough I'm one of them.
Wandering doesn't take much brain or effort. I guess the day's relaxation was rather rejuvenating in that sense. At your own pace, as you'd likely call it. Enjoying fruits juices, the sun, & the salty sea breeze is what most people fly for, isn't it? Yet which backpacker could possibly escape that damned thing called 'washing'?! Of course, if you didn't have a tight budget like mine, & could easily drop your laundry at the doby's!
