Day #2: Mui Ne (2-May-2010) (Cont'd)
As I'd previously mentioned, getting a burnt thigh wasn't very fun. So this red it was... Not to mention the pain involved upon every slightest touch. Moisturise moisturise. But still you couldnt avoid the peeling which would eventually take shape. Below are some of the random food stuff I bought from Phan Thiet. Not all are displayed though. Somehow being too busy eating deemed me unfit to snap photos.

This wasn't bought. Was offered by the lady owner of the hotel I stayed at. Chilled coffee pudding! Mmmmm... For Vietnam is famous for its coffee too. So there you go! I havent tried anything like this before. But it was great! (:

This sweet 'biscuit' above, how'd I describe? Crispy, fragrant, & SWEET. It was nice. But strictly for people with sweet-tooth. I wouldnt imagine a diabetic going for something like this. & perhaps it'd be jam-packed with calories too.
I bought several kinds of fruits from the market as well. This was one special one. Cinnamon apple, I was told by a local. Though I guess custard apple is what we call it. It looks moldy & awful here? Nah... It tasted wonderful. Doesnt come cheap though. Approx. 30k VND/kg. That's depending on how you'd haggle. It was a rip off this 1st time I bought some. Lesson learnt. Ok, one point to note about this fruit.. Very very SEEDY indeed!
The next post I shall go on about Mui Ne, stillllll. No you cannot cover Mui Ne (it's surrounding, rather) in one day. You'd be missing too much if you did. & surely that'd be regrettable.
